Annually the Knights of Columbus sponsor 2 scholarships for the youth of our parish who are pursuing further education. These scholarships are designed to recognize students who are involved in both our church and school communities and demonstrate a commitment to the Columbian principles of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism.
These awards are open to all families who are members of St Ann’s Church, and we encourage all parishioners to consider having their students apply when eligible. These scholarships would not be possible without the generous support of our parish by attending our events – thank you.
The Andrew Schock Memorial Scholarship is presented each year to a student entering a Catholic high school who exemplifies the life of service and involvement of our departed Brother Andrew. The winner of this year’s $1000 Andrew Schock Scholarship is Ryan Brophy. Ryan will be attending Bethlehem Catholic High School next year.
The Thomas Mulkern Memorial Scholarship is presented each year to a student pursuing further education after high school who exemplifies the life of service and leadership that our departed Past Grand Knight Tom had demonstrated in the early years of our Council. The winner of this year’s $2000 Thomas Mulkern Scholarship is Madison Brophy. Madison will be attending the University of Scranton in the Fall.
